Codes of conduct and international framework agreements - Case studies
The aim of this research was to assess the impact of codes of conduct and international framework agreements (IFAs) at company level, both from an analytical perspective and from a practical angle by analysing case studies of good practice.
A series of 10 case studies into companies which have a code of conduct, an international framework agreement or both tools was carried out in 2007.
Interviews with representatives from management and employees aimed at investigating the motivations and interest constellations of both parties and at reporting on the concrete changes these tools have introduced in the companies.
The following case studies were carried out by a research team in different countries:
- Arcelor - Author: Isabelle Schömann
- Basf - Author: Eckhard Voss
- Bosch - Authors: Eckhard Voss / Peter Wilke
