EGS target groups
The term 'people with disabilities' may mean a number of things. It refers both to people who have acquired a disability at birth or early in life, and to people who have been affected by illness or injury as adults. People who have worked previously but who are now absent for a period that qualifies them disability benefits are the target group for this study. Services for people who have never worked in the open labour market are not covered.
The individuals who take up these benefits are not a homogenous group. The cases listed here include the following categories:
- Job seekers over 50 years of age
- Job seekers under 30 years of age
- Men
- People with disabilities or illnesses
- The long-term unemployed
- The short-term unemployed
- Unemployed with additional job seeking needs
- Women
