Basic Navigation

All EMCC pages have the same basic structure. At the top-left of the screen the EMCC logo will always bring you back to the home page. Likewise, the Eurofound logo in the upper right-hand corner will always bring you back on the main Eurofound page; EMCC is a Eurofound project.

Just below the Eurofound logo, the buttons for search, site map, help and contact appear on every page.

European Restructuring Monitor

This item informed about the European Restructuring Monitor (ERM), one of the main activities of the European Monitoring Centre on Change. It informs in detail about the following ERM products:

• The support instruments database (launched in November 2011)
• The restructuring events database (started in 2002)
• The ERM annual report 
• The ERM quarterly
• Comparative Analytical Reports

European Jobs Monitor

Under this heading you will find information on the European Jobs Monitor (EJM), which analyses shifts in the employment structure in the EU in terms of occupation and sector and gives a qualitative assessment of these shifts using various proxies of job quality – wages, skill-levels etc.

Labour market research

This heading in the main navigation bar (left hand side of the page) will give you access to completed, ongoing and upcoming research projects of the EMCC.

PDF (Portable Document Format) files

We have provided some documents in pdf format. This means that you can download the document and view it on your screen as a facsimile of the printed version. To do this, you need the software Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded directly from Adobe. Full installation instructions are provided, and you can configure your browser to use the Reader as a 'plug in' to view the document within your browser window, or to save the file and read it 'off line'.
