VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Training aimed at acquiring the skills or knowledge required for carrying on a particular occupation. Vocational training is provided in Belgium through several channels: in vocational training institutions (private or public); within the enterprise (e.g. under a trainee or apprenticeship scheme); or by the public employment services.
