AGE LIMIT

Age above which a person may no longer take part in a competitive examination organized for access to a post or continue to be employed in a certain capacity. In France, a statutory age limit exists only for established civil servants . In other cases, an age limit may be stipulated, under certain conditions, by collective agreement or under the individual contract of employment (see retirement ).
