BREAK
| GREECE |
| DIAKOPÍ ERGASÍAS διακοπέ εργασίαζ BREAK |
In principle, the concept covers both short breaks during the performance of work (see working hours ) and also weekly rest days and public holidays (see working time , public holidays ). It denotes all periods of time during which the obligation to work is suspended while the employment relationship and its associated continuous obligations remain unaffected.
(The same term may also be used in the plural (διακοπεζ) to refer to annual holidays.)
