| LEGGE FINANZIARIA FINANCE ACT |
Name used to refer to the legal instrument containing provisions on the make-up of the national budget. Promulgated at the end of every year, it contains the provisions on the budget for the following year. The Finance Act is normally accompanied by a statute (called appunto di accompagnamento , i.e. implementing legislation) containing provisions regarding public finances. In recent years this implementing legislation has dealt with issues of relevance to labour law, such as the raising of the pensionable age , the Wages Guarantee Fund and an increase in the contributions payable by employers with respect to overtime .
