Forum on the future workforce - new strategies for new demographics

Robert Anderson, Head of Unit, Living Conditions and Quality of Life, will present Eurofound research findings on lifelong learning in the context of the ageing workforce.
AARP and the European Commission are co-sponsors of an international forum to explore strategies for meeting the workforce changes brought by changing demographics. The Forum will convene global leaders from government, industry, and social partner for discussions on the following topics:
- Combating age discrimination and promoting age diversity in the workplace;
- Life-long learning and training;
- Financial considerations to working longer;
- Flexible work options;
- Making workplaces more accommodating; and
- Promoting health and wellness.
