European cities integrating migrants - From Amsterdam to Zagreb: Fostering a dialogue about successful policies

Background

The CLIP conference is jointly organised by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, the Committee of the Regions, the European Commission and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

Objectives

Participants will debate innovative policies at local level to help integrate migrants. The focus is on local governance for integration and access to housing, and on personnel policy of local authorities and services for migrants. The aim is to foster dialogue about successful policies and their implementation.
The conference is an initiative of CLIP - European Network of Cities for Local Integration Policies for Migrants.

Participants

This conference will bring together EU policy makers, Lord Mayors of several European cities, experts, national and regional representatives, civil society and social partners.
