Lithuanian Presidency EU Conference - Mental health: Challenges and possibilities

The conference is organised in cooperation with the State Mental Health Centre, under the auspices of the Lithuanian Presidency of the European Union. The event will bring together around 200 mental health experts from around the European Union and candidate countries, joined by the European Free Trade Association. Participants will discuss the importance of mental health in all policies as well as society’s influence on the emergence and development of mental illnesses. Much attention will be given to children's and adolescents' mental health development, and the analysis of addictive disorders.
At the conference, speeches will be given by representatives from the European Commission and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as by experts and academics from Lithuania and beyond. A programme is available.
