Working conditions seminars in candidate countries
The Foundation held a series of seminars in 2002 on working conditions in those countries seeking accession to the European Union. The seminars featured presentations based on data gathered in a questionnaire-based survey on working conditions carried out in the candidate countries (CC) in 2001 and provided a platform for debate on working life issues in each CC.
The seminars were completed in September. Each was attended by invited experts, researchers, government/public authority officials and social partner representatives. Between 30 and 70 individuals participated in each seminar.
