National surveys

Employer questionnaire

Three types of survey with questionnaire addressed to employers are analysed:

• The transnational 'Continuing Vocational Training Survey' is exclusively addressed to employers and focuses specifically on training provided by the companies.
• The 'Canadian Workplace and Employee Survey' (WES) addresses both employers and employees and links responses from both sides.
• The British 'Workplace Health and Safety Surveys' (WHASS) and the Spanish 'National Working Conditions Survey' (ENCT) address employers and workers in different surveys.

Besides the company information gathered in the surveys, the analysis of the selected questionnaires addressed to employers investigate the following quality of work and employment related topics:

• working conditions;
• skills and competence;
• development/training;
• work organisation and organisational change;
• occupational risk prevention;
• damage to health.
