The main trends, driving forces and expectations regarding the quality of life and work in Europe over the next decade will be discussed at a special Foundation event in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 9-10 October 2003.
The aim of the event is to bring together a selected group of researchers and policy actors from both the European Union and acceding and candidate countries to set in motion preparations for the Foundation Forum 2004.
In particular, the seminar will consider the factors influencing quality of life and work in Europe, the key problems to be addressed over the next few years and the barriers and opportunities to achieving better living and working conditions.
