Perceptions of social integration and exclusion in an enlarged Europe (report)

Author: Böhnke, Petra
Summary: Examining quality of life in 28 European countries, including the acceding and candidate countries as well as the current Member States of the EU, this report provides, for the first time, an analysis of views and experiences of the citizens of the new Europe regarding the risk to social integration arising from marginalisation, deprivation and poverty. The analysis is based on data from the European Commission’s Eurobarometer survey carried out in the acceding and candidate countries in Spring 2002 and standard EU 15 Eurobarometers. A summary of this report is also available (EF0435).
