Eurofound presentation to the EP Committee on Employment and Social Affairs
On 28 January 2019, Eurofound’s Executive Director Juan Menéndez-Valdés presents to the European Parliament Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, together with the Directors of the other four EU employment agencies (CEDEFOP, OSHA, ETF and ELA).
Linking research with policymaking
The Executive Director's presentation will highlight the successful work Eurofound has done in 2019 and where the findings and knowledge have contributed to EU policymaking. Examples include presentations to the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO), for example on platform work, and Employment Committee (EMCO) meetings, as well as numerous citations in key policy documents, such as the following reports: Employment and Social Developments in Europe 2019 and Joint Employment Report 2019.

The Executive Director will also outline the planned work and outputs for 2020, the last year of the current four-year programming period. One highlight will be the launch of the fourth wave of the European Company Survey in the autumn, as well as three Flagship publications on Labour market change, Industrial relations, and Working conditions and sustainable work.
