Quality of life touches on areas of life relevant to everybody, such as relations with family and friends, as well as on issues pertaining to public policy, such as housing and social relations in the community. This report draws on two rounds of the European Quality of Life Survey, carried out by Eurofound in 2003 and 2007, to give a wide-ranging picture of the diverse social realities in Europe today. It explores patterns of stability and change in the quality of life of the EU population as a whole and questions whether overall quality of life is deteriorating or improving in the different countries

    Автор(и):
    Eurofound
    Настоящето проучване разглежда моделите на стабилност или промяна в качеството на живот на населението на ЕС като цяло. В проучването се анализира до каква степен разширяването на ЕС е променило качеството на живот в новите държави-членки, както и степента на промяна сред хората с недостатъчни доходи, различните възрастови групи, както и мъжете и жените. Освен това, проучването съдържа оценка на уязвимостта на определени групи в условията на настоящата икономическа рецесия.

  • European Quality of Life Surveys

    The European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS) is carried out every four to five years since its inception in 2003, with the latest edition in 2016. It examines both the objective circumstances of people's lives and how they feel about those circumstances and their lives in general. It covers issues around employment, income, education, housing, family, health and work–life balance. It also looks at subjective topics, such as people's levels of happiness and life satisfaction, and perceptions of the quality of society.
