With the average age of the population rising, people aged 55–64 make up an increasing share of workers in Europe. This demographic shift, as well as ongoing threats to the sustainability of national welfare and pension systems, has increased pressure for reforms to encourage longer careers. This report maps initiatives at national or sectoral level taken by governments and social partners to keep older workers in the labour market. Some measures involve financial incentives to work longer while others look at ways to enhance working conditions.

    Ролята на правителствата и социалните партньори за задържане на възрастните работници на пазара на труда

    Автор(и):
    Eurofound
    В настоящия доклад се проучват инициативите на национално и секторно равнище, предприети от правителствата и социалните партньори в цяла Европа за задържане на възрастните работници на пазара на труда. Изготвен главно въз основа на материали от 28 национални кореспонденти на Европейската обсерватория на индустриалните отношения (EIRO), той разглежда инициативи и мерки, въведени за подобряване на здравето и работната среда на работниците и за насърчаване на обучението и пригодността за заетост на възрастните работници, и които имат за цел да поощрят работниците да останат по-дълго на работното си място.
