Individual and collective: when the rights of digital workers ride on two wheels (Individuale e collettivo : quando i diritti dei lavoratori digitali corrono su due ruote)

The article focuses on the food-delivery sector, underlining the reasons why this kind of digital work has become visible on the "city platform". The description of the collective bargaining started by Riders Union Bologna and the examination of the Charter of fundamental rights of digital work in the urban context signed in Bologna on 31 May 2018, in their individual and collective implications, are useful to clarify strengths and weakness of the first municipal trilateral territorial contract. The author also provides guidance on the possible developments of the Italian legal system, starting from the need to update the reference cases of labour law.
