Uber and Lyft: woo drivers with stable pay, not short-term honeypots

Platforms companies such as Uber and Lyft are trying to attract gig workers with the promise of bonuses as they struggle to get people. This does not seem to work as fair compensation is what the workers want and they don’t buy on the bonus offering. The pandemic has left many workers with no support and they are bitter about it and not rushing to get back to work.
