SOCIAL WAGE SOZIALLOHN |
In Austrian usage, term which is often used to refer to employers' social insurance contributions (see gross pay/total income from employment).
In the Anglo-Saxon literature on redistribution and the welfare state, the same term is understood to mean income after allowing for redistribution through taxes and transfers in money and real terms, i.e. disposable income plus public provision of goods and services (such as health care and education).
