Levels of worry about not having adequate income in old age

This graph shows the income insecurities in the old age - the percentage of respondents who are 'worried' or 'extremely worried' are on the left side, while those answering  are shown on the right side. 

The countries with the significant difference between genders are marked with black overlay.

This data was gathered in 28 Member States and 5 candidates countries during European Quality of Life Survey 2016.

Note: The chart shows percentages of those who indicated 1-5 (not worried at all and not worried) and 6–10 (worried and extremely worried) on a 1–10 scale. This was recorded by asking the respondents a question: ‘On a scale of 1 to 10, how worried are you, if at all, that your income in old age will not be sufficient? 1 means not worried at all, 10 means extremely worried.’ The percentage point (pp) differences between men and women that are statistically significant are indicated with black overlay.
