The aim of the Estonian Presidency conference is to provide a vision for developing policies for the changing nature of work that will ensure high employment, decent jobs, adequate social security, and a highly skilled workforce for the productive digital economy via digital solutions.

Themed 'Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups' this Maltese Presidency conference will be held on 26-27 April 2017 in St Julian's, Malta. The conference will start with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards Ceremony. Their Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2016-2017 addressed the concept of ageing workforce. It will be followed by an OHS Tripartite Conference, organised by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA-MT), which will address the challenges and risks faced by vulnerable workers.
