Description

In a ruling in December 2017 (case C-434/15, Asociación Profesional Elite Taxi v Uber Systems Spain SL), the Court of Justice of the European Union decided that the service provided by Uber connecting individuals with non-professional drivers is covered by services in the field of transport. Member States can therefore regulate the conditions for providing that service.
