Coverage/Eligibility
The programme supports small, medium and large enterprises operating in Prague, in areas such as manufacturing, construction, retail and wholesale, transportation and storage, accommodation, catering and other services. The companies must apply new sustainable energy solutions in their businesses.
Main characteristics
The project aims to encourage companies to develop sustainable energy solutions and operational systems for their businesses. The programme offers preferential interest-free loans to cover the costs of energy assessment and to achieve the results of project implementation.
Loan specifics:
- amount: CZK 1-20 million (€36,500 up to €73,000 as at 25 March 2020), which would amount to 70% of the project's eligible expenditure;
- interest and fee-free;
- return period: 10 years;
- loan drawdown: up to 2 years;
- deferment of loan principal repayments: up to 2 years;
- financial contribution of 7% of the drawn down amount of the loan upon achieving the planned energy savings;
- reinsurance: to be determined individually.
Loan purposes:
- insolation of business buildings and window replacement;
- reconstruction of electricity and gas distribution;
- air conditioning replacement for more energy efficiency;
- lighting of buildings and industrial areas;
- modernisation of energy production facilities for own consumption;
- installation of a renewable energy production plant and heat pumps;
- and other measures set out in calls.
The programme is managed by the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank.
