Mensakas cooperative

The Mensakas cooperative was founded in May 2018 by the help of Riders x Derechos, which launched a crowdfunding campaign for the purpose. Mensakas provides delivery services. It was established by Intersindical Alternativa de Catalunya (IAC) and a group of riders from Deliveroo, Glovo and Uber Eats, who also created Riders x Derechos. Mensakas employs all its riders aiming to create dignified working conditions for them. Furthermore, it strives to operate in an ecological and sustainable way and to support the local food and restaurant market. It is supported by CoopCyle, the French network of cooperatives, which provides a responsible software for the cooperative’s app.
