    Dopo l’indagine del 2005, Eurofound ha analizzato in maniera approfondita i risultati raccolti, concentrando la propria attenzione su importanti tematiche connesse alle condizioni di lavoro nell’UE. Una delle tematiche oggetto dell’analisi riguarda le analogie e le differenze riscontrate tra gli ambienti di lavoro di uomini e donne. Lo studio ha esaminato numerosi aspetti specifici della qualità del lavoro, tra cui l’orario di lavoro, la soddisfazione professionale, la compatibilità tra vita e lavoro e le conseguenze dell’attività lavorativa sulla salute, per poter valutare le esperienze di uomini e donne in un ambiente di lavoro in continua evoluzione. In particolare, è stata studiata la divisione del lavoro in base al genere, dal punto di vista della vita lavorativa e della vita privata, ed è stato fatto un resoconto delle condizioni di lavoro di uomini e donne nei 27 Stati membri dell’UE. Questo opuscolo presenta in sintesi le principali sfide poste dalla dimensione di genere sul lavoro e i principali risultati dello studio.
