Ruling 09.06.2016, (6 U 73/15)

The Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt confirmed the judgment of the Regional Court of Frankfurt on UberPop of 18 March 2015 (Az. 3/08 O 136/14) and upheld the ban on use of the Uberpop app, based on providing paid transport services without authorisation to carry passengers, which violates the Passenger Transportation Act and is also in violation of anti-competition rules. The judgment was not yet final, as Uber has the option to appeal.
