Additional Information
The state-owned company Adif, in charge of the administration of railway infrastructure, has proposed a voluntary redundancy plan affecting 350 workers (around 2.5% of its entire workforce). In 2013, the company implemented a collective dismissal that affected 250 employees. This measure was implemented by means of voluntary departures. Adif's workforce has an average age of 51 years. The proposals are that the voluntary redundancy plan would be addressed at workers aged over 59 years with more than 31 years in the company.
