Online retailer Amazon has announced the recruitment of 1,800 employees by end 2019. About 500 positions will be created in a new warehouse site at Bretigny-sur-Orge (Essone) that will open this summer. Further 1,300 positions will be created in the coming months at Amazon's other 20 sites in France. This will bring its workforce to more than 9,300 people employed in France by the end of the year. Amazon is looking for a wide variety of profiles and does not require a degree in logistics or previous experience. Managerial positions are also sought.
