German media group Bertelsmann is to build a printing plant near Liverpool. Arvato, Bertelsmann's printing and services unit, said it would spend 170 million euros (£113m) to build the plant in 2005 near the city's John Lennon airport. The plant will start operating by 2006, employing 400 people.
