The French information technology and business consultancy company Capgemini has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its unit in Lublin by the end of 2020. Currently, the company is mainly looking for specialists with knowledge of foreign languages, including French, German and English. In the near future, the company will recruit cloud solutions engineers, UX designers, business analysts and IT programmers.

Capgemini operates in 40 countries and employs 220,000 people worldwide. The company has been operating in Poland since 1996 and has seven offices across the country (Wrocław, Kraków, Katowice, Warszawa, Poznań, Lublin and Opole) employing over 9,000 people. The unit in Lublin was launched in 2019; currently, it employs 200 specialists. The Polish branches provide services in nearly 20 languages. Previous restructuring took place in November 2018 (100 jobs created), and December 2017 (500 jobs created), January 2019 (100 jobs created), May 2019 (200 jobs created) and February 2020 (200 jobs created).
