Capgemini, one of the world's largest IT services companies, has announced the recruitment of 9,000 employees in 2023 to be hired on permanent contract basis.
Of this total, 4,500 will be junior staff in all areas of its business: IT services, industrial engineering and consulting. The group has 38,000 employees in France and has increased its turnover by 21% in 2022.
Recently, CapGemini announced it will be recruiting 500 employees in Lyon (including 40 young people on work-study programmes) and 400 in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) (FR-Capgemini-2023a). Several other restructuring announcements have been recorded on the ERM Database: 350 recruitments in July 2022 in the Haut-de-France region (FR-cagemini-2022b), 680 in May 2022 at Nantes (FR-Capgemini-2022a), 120 in 2010 at Rennes (FR-Capgemini-2010) and 206 job cuts in 2006 in France (FR-Capgemini-2006).
