European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cargo Slovakia, a public freight railway company, will proceed with its internal restructuring. In addition to the already dismissed 1,224 employees up to the end of September 2011, the cut of a further 597 jobs by the end of 2011 has been announced.
It is reported that the dismissals will mainly proceed by natural attrition and voluntary departures.
