US bank Citigroup is to create 300 new jobs in Ireland in 2022. The bank has been operating in Ireland for over 55 years and is in the process of building its European banking headquarters in Dublin. The new roles will be in risk, audit, finance and treasury as well as technology positions in the areas of cloud computing, software engineering and blockchain.
The bank currently employs 2,500 people in Ireland (with 700 of these based in Dublin), across corporate and private banking, treasury, markets, securities services and technology.
