Additional Information

German producer of automotive parts, Handtmann, has launched a new foundry plant in the Kechnec Industrial Park in Slovakia. New investment is worth about €90 million, and it is expected that about 160 new jobs will be created there by 2025. The plant currently employs around 40 people, with the first phase of serial production due to start in November 2021. About 1 million pressure die casting units to car engines and gear-boxes would be produced yearly in the new plant. Family Company Handtmann also employs 200 workers in its first factory in Slovakia built in Kosice in 2009.
