The Hutchinson group, a subsidiary of Total, which manufactures and markets products derived from rubber processing, has announced the loss of 3,000 jobs worldwide, including between 800 and 1,000 in France. Worldwide, the group employs around 40,000 people. The reorganisation affects 3,000 employees and 6,000 temporary workers. The company's main customers include the automotive and aerospace industries, both of which have been hard hit by the COVID containment measures over recent months.
