Jacobs, the global technology services firm, which is headquartered in the USA, has announced that it will create 2,400 new jobs in the UK in the next two years. The jobs will be in professional and technical occupations in a variety of sectors. The recruitment drive has already started and it will focus on attracting students, graduates and young professionals. The jobs will be located across the company’s existing offices across the UK - including Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow and Belfast.
The announcement was made at the opening of Jacobs' new European flagship office in London and the chief operating officer said that the investment in the new office is an indication of the company’s confidence in the U.K. economy.
Jacobs provides professional, technical and construction services and consultancy and is currently involved in a number of high-profile infrastructure projects in the UK.
