Additional Information

Kohila Vineer OÜ, plywood manufacturing company in Kohila, announced that their business expansion is going by the plan and in addition to 39 employees hired during autumn 2015, they plan to hire around 110 new employees within 2016.

The company is finishing the construction of a new 17,000 square metres plant and has already hired 39 new employees (mainly wood machine operators). The recruitment has in general been smooth, however it is difficult to find managers and specialists. The company has cooperated with Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund to find new employees and parent company is offering workplace training. The company has participated in trade fairs, organised information days and is planning to organise a labour fair in Kohila to attract potential employees.

The company is using exclusively Estonian timber and is not planning to import raw materials even after the expansion. Kohila Vineer was founded in 2011 and its main manufacturing products are birch plywood and spoons.
