Description

The Swiss auditing and advisory company KPMG International, which employs a workforce of 104,000 worldwide and of 7,214 in Germany, is the second largest auditing firm operating in the German market.

On 8 January 2007 KPMG announced plans to create 1,350 new jobs in Germany in 2007. The company points out that the number given is not to be confused with a net increase of new jobs. In 2006 KPMG signed 1,200 work contracts with new employees, out of which 470 were employed in new jobs. No figure is given on how many new jobs will be created in 2007.
