German discount chain Lidl is planning to start its operations in Lithuania and will create around 1,000 new jobs throughout the country by the end of 2016. According to the management, most of the new employees will be employed within the first few months of 2016. The company has already announced a variety of vacancies for different kind of professionals – from cashiers to financial managers. Currently Lidl Lietuva employs about 300 administrative staff.
