German truck manufacturer MAN Trucks announced that it will create 100 new jobs at its production facility in Niepołomice (Niepołomice Investment Zone). The company is to create positions in logistics and production departments, especially assembly and quality control. The company is mainly looking for experienced production staff and relying on shift-work. Among others, the company offers a wide range of social and financial benefits (candidates can get up to PLN 5,000 gross salary). The restructuring programme is associated with the launch of the new production line dedicated to NTG (New Truck Generation), trucks with solutions as driver orientation, assistance systems and digital networking.
In Poland, MAN has been operating since 1996, it has three factories in the country (Niepołomice, Kraków and Starachowice). MAN Trucks has been operating in Niepołomice since October 2007, it specialises in the production of heavy utility vehicles. It currently employs about 750 people in the Niepołomice site.
