Norwegian seafood company Marine Harvest ASA has announced that it will create 100 jobs at its new business services centre in Gdańsk. The unit will provide services to some branches of the company in the area of IT, finance, accounting and sale. The company will hire both experienced specialists and graduates. The investment has been supported by the Pomerania Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza).

Marine Harvest ASA, founded in 1965, is one of the world’s largest producer of farmed salmon. The company employs over 12,000 people in 24 countries worldwide. Marine Harvest ASA has been operating in Poland since 2013; currently, the company has 3 production facilities (in Duninowo, Strzelin and Lębork) and employs over 4,000 people across the country.
