With on average 23,000 employees worldwide, Océ provides a range of professional hardware, software and business services for added-value document handling. A restructuring plan was already announced in 2001, 1,200 jobs had to be suppressed by the end of 2003. In october 2002, the half of this number was already suppressed. A new reorganisation has been announced in April 2003 that should cost some hundreds jobs. September 2003, 175 jobs more will be suppressed, part of the printer production will be relocated in Eastern Europe and China.
