Additional Information

The IT company Oracle, the world’s largest provider of enterprise software, has announced to cut about 1,300 positions across EU by 2020. Dublin (Ireland), where 1,400 are working for Oracle, Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Malaga (Spain) are the main cities likely to be affected by the job cuts. The job cuts affect employees working across sales, business development and solutions engineering. In Dublin, the management invited all staff to a meeting on March 4 in the afternoon, at which they were told the news.

In recent years Oracle has expanded its business, in a move that has led it to become a leading cloud computing firm. A previous worldwide reorganization was recorded in 2011 with 1,700 recruitments.
