US online payments company PayPal has announced that it will create 400 new jobs at its European Operations Centre in Dundalk. According to the sources the jobs will be in telesales, merchant services, cost solutions and risk operations. These new jobs are in addition to the 1,000 announced in 2012, of which 600 have been filled. The jobs will be filled by 2018. The job expansion is supported by IDA Ireland.

The sources report that PayPal already employs 2,500 in Ireland, of which 1,450 are in Dundalk. The ERM previously reported on restructuring at PayPal in 2011 (A and B) and 2009.
