Additional Information
The car manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën has announced the recruitment of 100 employees at its Vesoul site (Haute-Saône). This site is specialised in the preparation of spare parts worldwide and it is being affected by the manufacturer's disengagement from Iran.
PSA Peugeot Citroën has begun a reorganisation of the site with a new work organisation. Since 1 September 2018, the weekly working time has been increased from 35 hours to 37 hours and 45 minutes. A 7.8% increase that resulted in a 3.1% increase in compensation and the hiring of 30 people (10% of the 300 temporary workers), while PSA will invest an additional €10 million in Vesoul to manufacture parts for PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) vehicles. This project will enable the recruitment of 100 people in 2019.
