Description

On 19 November 2012, producer of wiring systems PKC Group Poland announced plans to cut 180 jobs in the factory in Starachowice by the end of November 2012.

The company is to reduce employment due to drop in orders. The dismissals will affect mainly employees on their second fixed-term contract. According to Polish labour law, the third contract would have to be renewed for an indefinite period, therefore PKC Group Poland would like to avoid this due to the company's current uncertain finances.
