Additional Information
Quality Pack, a subsidiary of Hungarian energy drink producer Hell Energy, is to double its aluminium beverage can production at its Szikszó plant. At present, the plant's capacity is 1.5 billion cans per year, which is expected to grow to 3 billion by October 2021. As a result, 120 new jobs are to be created.
The investment cost is €53 million, of which more than one-third – €19 million – is covered by a non-refundable government subsidy, based on an individual government decision.
Quality Pack started operating in 2017 as the only aluminium beverage can producer in Hungary. Hell Energy built the factory to prove its commitment to the circular economy and sustainability. Indeed, 95% of the cans produced for Hell Energy drinks (energy drink, iced coffee, iced tea, and others) are made of recycled aluminium. Quality Pack provides manufacturing services for other producers as well.
