Polish industrial boiler manufacturer Rafako has announced that it will cut up to 190 jobs troughout a collective dismissal programme at its facility in Racibórz, in the near future. The conditions of the programme will be negotiated with the local trade unions. The company has revealed that the aim of the programme is to adjust its employment level to the current market situation, and improve financial and operational effectiveness of the company.
Rafako was founded in 1949. Currently, the company is a subsidiary of PBG. As of 2020, the company employed 1,510. Previous restructuring programme was announced in August 2020 (400 jobs cut).
