Additional Information

Faced with a shortage of labour in many sectors, the Randstad temporary employment group announced that it will be recruiting 7,000 temporary workers on permanent employment contract (CDI intérimaire) by the end of 2022 in France. The announcement was made at the 'Choose France' summit organised by the French presidency to attract foreign investment to France. The CDI intérimaire is a legal form that was created to provide stability for temporary workers. It includes periods during which assignments are carried out and also periods during which no assignment is carried out ('intermission periods'), which are treated as actual working time for the purposes of determining paid holiday entitlements and seniority. Randstad is looking for different profiles : in the logistics sector, HGV drivers, super HGV drivers, order pickers, in the food and automobile sectors, line drivers, forklift truck operators, electricians, etc. All French regions are concerned, and particularly the Hauts-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions where more than 1,000 positions are open

As recorded in the ERM database, in 2013, Randstad announced to cut 163 jobs in France (Randstad-2013-FR).
